Upcoming exhibitions in Dubai, the UAE and the GCC

Brief a contractor ten weeks before the show opens for a standard custom stand, and six months ahead for a double decker or a national pavilion. The binding deadline is rarely fabrication. It is the organiser's cut-off for approving structural drawings, load calculations, electrical layouts and rigging plans. Miss that and the design gets simplified regardless of how much build time is left. For biennial defence and aerospace shows such as IDEX and Dubai Airshow, twelve months is normal.

Often not, but the constraint is the organiser's approval deadline rather than our production capacity. If the organiser has already closed submissions for custom structures, the realistic option becomes an upgraded shell scheme. Four shows moved to Expo City Dubai: GITEX Global, GISEC Global, INDEX with The Hotel Show, and WHX Dubai, formerly Arab Health. Gulfood 2027 runs across both Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre. Arabian Travel Market moved from May to September, and Dubai International Boat Show moved permanently from April to November. Venue changes affect hall height, rigging points, contractor registration and build-up access, so a stand structure approved for DWTC is not automatically compliant at Expo City.

Four things: the show name, your stand size and floor plan from the organiser, your brand guidelines, and what you need the stand to do. That last point matters most. A stand built for private meetings with ten buyers looks nothing like a stand built for footfall and product demonstrations. Pavilion work involves government approval cycles, protocol requirements for ministerial visits, multi-exhibitor layouts inside a single stand, and documentation standards above commercial builds. The Polish National Stand at Arabian Travel Market 2019 was 72 sqm, and the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic pavilion at Dubai Airshow 2025 was 136.5 sqm.

Six exhibitions take place in Dubai in September 2026. Middle East Energy runs 1 to 3 September at Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Derma 8 to 10 September at DWTC, Arabian Travel Market 14 to 17 September at DWTC, GISEC Global 16 to 18 September at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, and INDEX with The Hotel Show alongside Ru'ya Careers UAE, both 28 to 30 September. LEAP runs 31 August to 3 September in Riyadh. September is unusually crowded this year because Arabian Travel Market moved into it from May, so contractor and labour availability tightens in the last week.

Fifteen of the shows on this calendar are held at Dubai World Trade Centre between September 2026 and March 2027. They include Middle East Energy, Dubai Derma, Arabian Travel Market, Ru'ya Careers UAE, Beautyworld Middle East, WETEX, Najah Dubai, ARABLAB Live, Gulfood Manufacturing, GESS Dubai, World Vape Show, Big 5 Global, Intersec, WHX Labs and part of Gulfood 2027. Levo Exhibitions operates from Latifa Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, directly opposite DWTC.

Gulfood is the largest by exhibitor numbers and floor space, and in 2027 it expands across two venues from 15 to 19 March. GITEX Global is the largest technology exhibition in the region, running 7 to 11 December 2026 at Expo City Dubai. Big 5 Global is the largest construction event, with over 2,700 exhibitors, from 23 to 26 November 2026. In Abu Dhabi, ADIPEC from 2 to 5 November 2026 is the largest energy event in the world by attendance.

Two shows on this calendar are in Abu Dhabi and one is in Riyadh. ADIPEC runs 2 to 5 November 2026 and IDEX with NAVDEX runs 25 to 29 January 2027, both at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. LEAP runs 31 August to 3 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Malham. Building in Saudi Arabia carries requirements that do not apply in the UAE, including in-Kingdom fabrication and a registered importer, which are covered in the LEAP 2026 stand builder guide.

Every date and venue was checked against the official organiser source on 3 August 2026, and this page is reviewed quarterly. Exhibition dates do move, as Arabian Travel Market demonstrated three times in a single year.
